This post was updated on .
I have successfully tested MHVTL 0.18-11 with  NetBackup 7.0.1 on RedHat 6.0 Linux Beta

I have not encountered any errors yet ..

MHVTL works great with NetBackup.

I used the following tape device emulation:

[4:2:0:0] mediumx IBM 03584L52 8900 /dev/sch2 /dev/sg51
[4:2:1:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st4 /dev/sg6
[4:2:2:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st5 /dev/sg7
[4:2:3:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st6 /dev/sg8
[4:2:4:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st7 /dev/sg9
[4:2:5:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st8 /dev/sg10
[4:2:6:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st9 /dev/sg11
[4:2:7:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st10 /dev/sg12
[4:2:8:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st11 /dev/sg13
[4:2:9:0] tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 0BN1 /dev/st12 /dev/sg14

In NetBackup via the gui, I am able to scan devices and auto-configure all with no issues.
