facing problem in configuring the Tape Drive to take the backup.

I have installed below tape setup and facing problem in configuring the tape drive to take the backup.

1  AK377B  HP Storageworks LTO1760 SAS G2 1/8 Autoloader

1  AH166A  Rackmount kit for G2 1/8 autoloader

1  650926-B21 HP H222 6G SAS HBA, 1 x external and 1 x internal port (for both internal/external tape drives, autoloaders or libraries)

1 AE470A 2M External Mini-SAS (SFF8088) to Mini-SAS (SFF8088) 1x SAS Cable

1 C7978A HP Ultrium Universal Cleaning Cartridge

8 C7974A  HP LTO4 Ultrium 1.6TB Read/Write Data Cartridge

 

And this tape is connected to a HP DL380 G8 server with RHEL 5.7. Below are the outputs of specific commands

I must confess to being a little confused by your description of configuration.

To clarify, can I ask you to post the /etc/mhvtl/device.conf and /etc/mhvtl/library_contents.* files so I can take a look.
